Larry’s Lines. . . .

By Larry Murphy, Executive Director

We are still so excited about all that God is doing in Asembo Bay, Kenya.  This ministry led by God and started through your association is still truly a miracle.  God has done great things since 2002 when we made our first trip.

Many thanks to Leon and Brenda Hays for allowing God to lead them to take what was already working to do even more than we ever imagined.  The following is a brief report of what happened this year at Asembo Bay.

Please continue to Go, Give, and Pray!

Asembo Bay Ministries has had a very good year.  GOD has blessed us abundantly in the work. We were able to take an old destroyed building and put new life back into it. It has also been wired for electricity. The inside of the clinic has been repainted and, for the most part, is ready to set up the equipment.

The church and Bible college have been moved into the new building. We have the most advanced library and the only free public library in the area. It is used every Saturday and some through the week.

We were happy to build a house for a widow. Also, we have followed the progress of our widows groups with the animal program.

In December, we renamed the church “New Day Baptist Church Asembo-Kamito”. Since its beginning in January, nine campuses have been started. The ninth church was added the 28th of August at a crusade.

So far this year GOD has blessed us with, 1,355 people that have responded to the Gospel. That will bring the total for the Asembo Bay Project to approximately 13,800 for the entire time we have been at Asembo Bay.

Thanks for your prayer support, your encouragement, and your financial support. Without all of these and GOD’s blessing we could not do what we do. Thank you so much and GOD bless.
