I want you to pay special attention to the following information.
August 17 is a very big day for all of you who work in Sunday School, small group, Bible Study for Life or whatever your Bible study on Sunday is titled. A Discipleship & Sunday School Conference is scheduled for that date at Englewood Baptist Church. Please go on line and register and choose your conference. Cost: $10 per person
Breakouts will include conferences for Pastors, Discipleship Leaders, Sunday School Directors, Small Group Leaders, Preschool, Children, Youth and Adult teachers and leaders, Hispanic and Special Needs Leaders.
Also, please pay attention to I Stand for Life! This is your chance to voice your Christian concern on the subject of abortion.
Tennessee’s legislators are currently considering legislation that affects the lives of unborn children. A question is when, and if, an abortion can be performed in our state. In an effort to communicate that Tennessee Baptists stand for life, the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board respectfully requests that you sign the petition voicing your support for legislation that protects the lives of unborn children in Tennessee.
